Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Private Events Manager to oversee all private dining operations while also serving as a leader within our main restaurant dining room. This role requires a hospitality-driven professional who can successfully manage event sales, planning, and execution while confidently leading service teams on the floor.
The ideal candidate has experience managing private events within a restaurant environment and has also worked as a dining room manager or floor manager in a high-volume, upscale setting.
This position is in person 5 days a week. In addition to a base salary this position will receive commission on events.
Key Responsibilities
Private Dining & Events
- Manage all private dining inquiries from initial contact through post-event follow-up
- Conduct site tours and build client relationships
- Create customized event proposals, contracts, and BEOs
- Coordinate menus, beverage packages, room setups, and timelines
- Collaborate with culinary and dining room teams to ensure seamless execution
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown. When unable to be onsite clearly delegate responsibilities to another point person.
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and satisfaction
- Manage event billing, deposits, and final payments
- Maintain organized event calendar and sales pipeline
- Identify opportunities to grow private dining revenue
Restaurant Floor Management
- Actively manage service in the main dining room as a floor manager
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate service expectations
- Ensure service standards and hospitality excellence are consistently met
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Support training and development of front-of-house staff
Qualifications
- 2+ years of private dining or restaurant event management experience
- 2+ years of restaurant floor or dining room management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with event software (Triple Seat)/POS systems
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong understanding of food & beverage operations
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $70,000.00)
