Overview
The Banquet Server will interact one one-on-one with guests at catered events. Food service will include taking guest orders, providing wine service, replenishing beverages utilizing Club service standards, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Event execution will include the setup of tabletop, reception areas, food stations, movement of catering equipment within the event venue, light side work and clean-up duties.

Responsibilities

• Consistently following the Food and Beverage department's sequence of service while utilizing proper procedures and standards
• Provide guests at catered events with exceptional service throughout all phases of their experience at the Club while commanding full menu knowledge and preparation methods
• Maintain all equipment, tools, and supplies while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and local health department
• Work as a team and effectively communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/ or other associates

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a banquet/catering server in a catering, hotel, or club environment
• Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks 
• Must be able to physically lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware.  
• Excellent customer service skills with an in-depth knowledge of spirits, wine and food
