Bartender

Cook and Shaker is a well established neighborhood tavern focusing on elevated comfort food, craft beer and unique cocktails. We are looking for a full time bartender to round out our team.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for all things food and beverage, thrives in a fast paced environment, and enjoys providing guests with memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide courteous, prompt, and warm service to our guests
• Prepare beverage orders for bar and dining room adhering to recipes
• Maintain working knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
• Keep the bar organized, clean, and well stocked during, throughout and after shift
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and professional demeanor
• Complete other task as assigned by management
• Stay interested in   Wine/beer/spirits and cocktail trends

What we are looking for

• Previous bartending experience in high volume or cocktail focused environment
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and interest in creative mixology
• Excellent communication and hospitality skill
• Ability to multi task while keeping a cool head

This position is 3-4 set shifts a week with optional pick ups. Our hours of operation are wed-sun with brunch on the weekend. Obviously availability during these times is a must but we aren’t asking you to sign away all your nights and weekends. Work and life balance is key.
