The Pastry Line Cook is responsible for preparing a high-quality level of desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires precision and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to execute a wide range of desserts in a timely manner under the instruction of the Executive Pastry Chef
  • Ability to follow strict portioning and decorating guidelines to ensure consistent presentation when plating.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • Has a team player mentality with a commitment to excellence and success 
  • Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
  • Has an understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Culinary training or certification in baking and pastry arts is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible in terms of scheduling which will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 3-year prior experience working in a restaurant is preferred.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($23.00 - $25.00)
