We are looking for a relentless individual to join us in the bar/kitchen. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate. This position will be working with all the best toys, equipment and products that exist so you must be organized, clean & calm. There will be ample learning opportunity for any skill set or experience level.
Job Details
Position Title: Bartender
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 35-40 hours per week
Reports To: Operations Director
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Execute dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Follow prep lists and recipes accurately to ensure consistency and minimize waste.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking for quality, accuracy, and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all required areas.
- Follow proper food and beverage handling and sanitation standards at all times.
- Perform regular quality checks on products
- Care for and maintain high quality equipment and workspace.
- Follow guidance and direction and be open to feedback.
- Uphold a culture of respect, collaboration, and professionalism in the kitchen.
- Anticipate and respond to owner, partner, colleague, employee & guest needs in a respectful and timely manner.
- Represent LYNX professionally through your personal appearance, communication and follow through.
Qualifications
- Identify and implement processes that enhance efficiency, improve service, and streamline operations to achieve excellence.
- Knowledgeable in industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements, with a proactive approach to risk management and loss prevention
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Flexibility with working hours: days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
