We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced AM Line & Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, takes pride in consistency and cleanliness, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Position Summary
The AM Line & Prep Cook is responsible for daily prep production, station setup, and line execution during service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food quality, kitchen organization, and operational efficiency. This role will be a hybrid role with a mix of prep on weekdays and service on weekends.
Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate a passion for cooking and commitment to quality

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Prepare ingredients for service (chopping vegetables, butchering proteins, preparing sauces, etc.)

Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and standards

Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs

Ensure food is prepared and sent out on time and to standard

Maintain proper food storage and label/rotation systems (FIFO)

Monitor product freshness and quality

Assist with receiving and organizing inventory

Maintain a clean and organized station throughout the shift

Comply with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations

Work collaboratively and maintain a positive, professional attitude

Memorize and execute portion sizes and prep procedures
Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a professional kitchen preferred

Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Strong attention to detail and consistency

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Weekend and holiday availability required
