The Western Bar & Kitchen is seeking a lead cook for our rustic American menu with southwest flavors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Food prep and working the line.
- Inventory and ordering
- Maintaining the high standard of food safety and cleanliness
- Manage and motivate kitchen staff in a high volume atmosphere.
Requirements:
Hold all necessary City of Chicago health certificate requirements (ServSafe manager, Allergen, and Healthy Chicago certificates)
Work weekends
Lift 50 pounds
1-2 years management experience
Our ideal candidate will be:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experienced cooking southwest American cuisine
Proficient with Toast software
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $23.00)
