Line Cook

SECOND HAND RANCH – LINE COOK

Schedule:  Part-time/0-29 Hours

Line Cook is responsible for managing food preparation and guest service while delivering a welcoming, high-quality experience to every customer at Second Hand Ranch. In this role, you will work independently, requiring strong communication skills, positive energy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will take and prepare customer orders, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, manage basic operational tasks, and ensure food is prepared to brand standards.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assemble orders quickly and accurately.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
• Assist with basic cooking, portioning, and plating as required.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Assist with restocking ingredients and supplies.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to a positive team environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience in a high volume, professional kitchen environment. 
• ServeSafe Foodhandler Card
• Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be eligible to work within the United States.
