Job Title: Brunch Cook
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes, ensuring that food is cooked properly and presented attractively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring.
- Cook and assemble dishes upholding Schulson Collective standards.
- Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to Schulson Collective policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Prep and store food items properly to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook required.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Food handler's permit or certification preferred.
