About Us: Sweet Linda is an East Village cocktail bar with a full food program. We pair a sharp beverage program with elevated, shareable food in a moody, intimate setting. The service is fast, polished, and personal. The energy is always high, and the standards are even higher. We’re building a team that’s dialed-in, professional, intuitive, and unfazed.
The Role: We’re hiring experienced servers to join our growing team. The right candidate has confidence, a strong sense of timing, and a passion for hospitality. You should be comfortable juggling a fast-paced floor, answering cocktail and food questions without blinking, and keeping guests happy without hovering. If you love creating memorable nights and thrive on rhythm and precision, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do:

Deliver excellent, high-touch service in a cocktail bar setting

Guide guests through the food and drink menus with confidence and ease

Take orders accurately and efficiently using Toast POS
-
Coordinate with the bar, kitchen, and support staff to ensure smooth flow and pacing

Maintain a clean, organized section and assist with setup and breakdown

Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency

Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
-
Contribute to a fun, respectful, and high-performing team environment
You Have:
-
2+ years of experience in high-volume, service-driven restaurants or cocktail bars
-
Strong food, wine, and cocktail knowledge (or a sharp memory and a willingness to learn fast)
-
A calm, confident presence and strong communication skills
-
Familiarity with Toast and Resy a plus
-
TIPS and Food Handler certification preferred
-
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
