Growing Restaurant Group | NYC (Manhattan & Brooklyn)

A well-established and growing restaurant group in NYC is seeking a strong, hands-on Kitchen Manager to help lead operations across its Manhattan and Brooklyn locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven culinary professional who thrives in fast-paced kitchens, loves building teams, and takes pride in running an organized, high-performing BOH.

💵 Compensation

$75,000–$85,000 annually
(based on experience and location)

  • 50–55 hours per week

👨‍🍳 About the Role

The Kitchen Manager is a key operational leader responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day BOH performance, team accountability, and high standards in food quality, safety, and organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example and is comfortable being on the line while also managing systems behind the scenes.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily BOH operations

  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams

  • Manage scheduling, ordering, and inventory

  • Control food costs and reduce waste

  • Ensure DOH compliance and food safety standards

  • Maintain consistency and quality across services

  • Partner with ownership and management on operational improvements

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Manager or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
