About Highball LTD
Highball LTD is the newest project from the team behind the iconic East Village speakeasy, PDT (Please Don’t Tell) and the recently opened Mixteca and Kees in the West Village. Highball LTD celebrates classic cocktails with a stylistic nod to the golden age of train travel. Its somewhat hidden location on the 11th floor, accessed through a freight elevator, is inspired by popular speakeasies of that same era.
The Role
Hospitality at Highball LTD is a team sport. It is essential that the entire team works closely together and is aligned on creating memorable experiences for everyone they encounter from guests, to fellow employees, to vendors, as well as the community. In this tight knit ecosystem, Support staff are responsible for running food from the kitchen to the guests table, elegantly describing all dishes, and creating hospitable guest experiences, while demonstrating a level of excellence in all technical aspects of the position. Support Staff at Highball LTD work in conjunction with Servers in order to facilitate a seamless guest experience; while Servers, and Support Staff have specific roles, everyone is responsible for the guest experience. There is no task too small for a Support Staff member if it contributes to a positive guest experience, including running drinks when able and possessing a firm grasp on spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail history knowledge. They also must have the ability to foster guest relationships with a broad array of customers, from first-time guests to long-time regulars.
