We’re seeking a Line Cook who is disciplined, detail-oriented, and passionate about cooking at a high level. This is a hands-on role for a cook who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
• Execute menu items accurately and consistently according to recipes and standards
• Work efficiently on assigned stations during service and prep
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper mise en place at all times
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Communicate clearly with Sous Chefs, Chef de Cuisine, and fellow cooks during service
• Assist with prep, receiving, and proper storage of products
• Uphold quality, portioning, and presentation standards
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen culture
Required Skills & Experience
• 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a professional, high-volume kitchen
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently during peak service
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary techniques
• NYC Food Handlers Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
• Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and continuously improve
• Punctual, reliable, and organized
