Job Details

Job Title: Lead Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes, ensuring that food is cooked properly and presented attractively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring.
  2. Cook and assemble dishes upholding Schulson Collective standards.
  3. Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
  5. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  6. Adhere to Schulson Collective policies, procedures, and regulations.
  7. Prep and store food items properly to prevent spoilage and contamination.
  8. Work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
  9. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience as a line cook required.
  2. Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
  3. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  4. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  9. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  10. Food handler's permit or certification preferred.
