Summary
Crema’s BOH Team Member position will take direction from management to help them maintain and execute a menu of simple, seasonal fare including breakfast dishes, sandwiches, salads and snacks. They will work with other BOH staff including prep/dish to ensure that all kitchen needs are well met.
The day-to day will include ingredient prep, making food items to recipe, washing dishes, receiving, stocking, controlling food waste and food cost, and helping the Kitchen Lead and Kitchen Manager ensure that the training is maintained for all team members involved in executing Crema’s food program.

Description:
- Work via par sheets and other methods to ensure that needed prepared food items are made to spec and recipe
- Communicate well with other kitchen team members about tasks that have been accomplished and need to be accomplished
- Receive/organize food items from vendors
- Log and track food waste
- Help maintain food cost targets
- Maintain plating presentation and packaging component standards.
- Follow and train all team members on food safety standards and maintain all kitchen equipment daily maintenance and keep a clean work space.
- Reinforce training for all team members responsible for executing food menu items.
Work all BOH positions when needed.
