Server Assistant

Seiren – Mediterranean Conservas Bar | New York, NY

Seiren is a Mediterranean-inspired conservas bar centered on thoughtful hospitality, refined small plates, and a focused cocktail and wine program. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Barbacks to support our bar team and help deliver a seamless guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Hardworking, organized individuals with a strong sense of urgency

• Interest in cocktails, spirits, and bar operations (bartending experience a plus)

• Ability to anticipate the needs of bartenders during service

• Team players with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Professional and dependable, with attention to cleanliness and detail

Responsibilities

• Polish glassware and assist in clearing and resetting tables 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas

• Assist the captain during service to ensure speed and consistency

• Handle trash, recycling, and end-of-night breakdown

• Support Chef in expediting food and dropping at the correct tables

• Follow all NYC health, safety, and workplace standards

Requirements

• Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred but not required

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Willingness to learn and grow within the bar program
