Job Description: Line Cook

We are looking for ambitious, preferably full time, Line Cooks who can be available for days, nights and weekends. Candidates must have a positive attitude, be diligent, willing to learn our products, cooking methods and recipes and show self-motivation to handle the high paced volume with a high level of quality. Candidates will need to be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen and read kitchen order tickets in English.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the prep lists and instruction/organization from the Owner
• Follow all procedures and process as instructed to the specification of the Owner
• Prepare, measure ingredients, and follow recipe’s
• Undertake basic cooking techniques such as sauté, fry, and roasting
• Prep/Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Prepare high-quality pizzas/menu items per training standards
• Manage all menu orders and ensure guests’ orders are completed on time and in a presentable manner
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, mopping floors, taking out trash, completing side work at end of shift etc.
• Have a sense of urgency and passion while working
• Comply with food safe sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Basic Qualifications:

• Have and maintain reliable transportation
• Ability to read/interpret and complete recipes
• Able to read kitchen order tickets in English
• Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Food/service industry experience

Physical Requirements

• Role Requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing and pulling to handle or move objects.
• You will also be asked to operate hand-held appliances and kitchen equipment

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient knife skills
• Experience in hand stretching pizza dough
• Experience working as a Pizzaiolo
• Experience in Pizza restaurant
• Experience cooking with a pizza oven
• Passion for cooking and curating food

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus tips
