Restaurant Barista

Maxime’s is the newest private member’s club opening from entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City.

We are seeking a talented Barista to join our world- class hospitality brigade. Reporting to our Bar Manager, the Barista will work closely with the Servers/Captains and other front-of-house team members to create personalized service with a focus on quality and detail. By crafting exceptional coffees and beverages, they contribute to the ambiance of the club, creating a welcoming and refined space.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven success as a Barista within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings.
• Strong knowledge of espresso equipment and dialing in.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages, ensuring consistency and precision in every cup.
• Ability to provide personalized, attentive service to members, remembering their preferences, and creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Thrives in high- end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business.
