Chef de Cuisine
(Relocation Support Available)
A chef-driven, nationally recognized restaurant in Philadelphia is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join its culinary leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to step into a well-established, award-winning operation with a strong internal culture built around execution, hospitality, and consistency. We are looking for an experienced kitchen leader who brings structure, clarity, and mentorship to a demanding service environment, while maintaining a creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
This position plays a central role in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring reliable, consistent execution across all services. The Chef de Cuisine leads, coaches, and develops sous chefs and culinary staff through clear expectations, ongoing training, and thoughtful feedback. They direct staffing efforts including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluation, and address conduct or performance issues with professionalism and discretion. In partnership with leadership, the role contributes to menu evolution and seasonal refinements while protecting core standards, enforces best practices around sanitation, food safety, and kitchen organization, and manages inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships. Close collaboration with front-of-house and leadership teams is essential to supporting smooth service flow, along with maintaining systems that promote efficiency, accountability, and consistency at scale.
The ideal candidate brings prior leadership experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef, with a proven track record of managing teams in high-volume, high-expectation kitchens. They are highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and skilled at problem-solving in fast-moving environments. This leader remains steady and composed during high-pressure service, is confident making difficult personnel decisions when necessary, and approaches the role with a hospitality-first mindset that prioritizes both guest experience and a strong, respectful team culture.
We offer long-term growth within a respected culinary organization, along with relocation assistance for qualified candidates outside the Philadelphia area.
