Owner and Executive Chef Scott Calhoun has spent nearly two decades in some of the country’s best kitchens, bringing his passion for wood-fired cooking, rich flavors, and deep hospitality to every plate. After training at the Culinary Institute of America and cooking at Jean-Georges in NYC, he landed in Philadelphia, working alongside Marc Vetri and Jeff Michaud at Osteria before leading the kitchen at Lo Spiedo and Parc on Rittenhouse Square.
Now, at Ember & Ash, he’s creating a fire-driven dining experience that’s laid-back, flavor-packed, and perfect for any night of the week.
