Bad Brother is looking to add a full-time line cook to our small, tight-knit back-of-house team.
This position is five days per week, averaging 37–40 hours depending on the week and the candidate.
Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
We are currently hiring for the cold side of the line, which includes bread service, cheese plates, salads, doughnuts, happy hour bites, and similar items. This is an entry-level station in our kitchen. We strongly prefer to promote from within and are looking for someone who wants to learn how we do things and grow into the hot side over time.
We run a very small kitchen with a very small staff. The menu changes daily and dishes are rarely repeated. Our goal is to execute food with fine-dining levels of detail while maintaining a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere. Organization at the pass and clear communication are essential.
We believe in doing things the right way, without shortcuts. This includes deep-cleaning the kitchen every night. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to contribute, and is willing to do whatever it takes to support the team.
A standard background check is required.
