Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Staff
Summary / Objective:
The Building Maintenance Staff ensures the property remains fully functional, visually appealing, and safe through a wide range of facilities, repair, and design‑oriented tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining building systems, executing light carpentry and finish work, repairing flooring and surfaces, and supporting the overall aesthetic and operational standards of the space.
Essential Functions:
- Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacing or repairing fixtures, wall switches, outlets, bulbs, tubes, ballasts, sockets, fuses, cords, and minor appliances using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
- Complete painting, light carpentry, masonry, and exterior fixture work, including flooring repairs, wall patching, surface preparation, and applying paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, sprayers, or rollers.
- Install or repair doors, locks, handles, and other hardware to maintain building security and functionality.
- Maintain an organized and adequate inventory of tools, equipment, supplies, and materials required for daily maintenance tasks.
- Perform occasional minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains.
- Support additional maintenance and facilities‑related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
While this role doesn’t have direct reports, the ideal candidate proactively plans and prioritizes their weekly repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the building remains safe, functional, and welcoming throughout daily operations.
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and may be required to push and/or pull up to 125 pounds. The role involves standing or walking for more than four hours per day.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)
