The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Events Operations Manager to join the team at Nine Orchard. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on precision, leadership, and flawless execution. You’ll oversee the operational planning and on-site management of all private events across the property—ensuring each experience reflects Nine Orchard’s elegance, energy, and uncompromising service standards.

What You’ll Do
-
Lead the operational planning and execution of all private events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations

Serve as the primary operational point of contact for events, coordinating seamlessly with sales, culinary, beverage, hotel, and service teams

Translate event contracts and client visions into detailed run-of-show documents, floor plans, staffing plans, and timelines

Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring flawless service flow, adherence to brand standards, and exceptional guest experiences

Manage event staffing needs in collaboration with leadership, including service teams, culinary, bar, and external vendors

Coordinate load-ins, load-outs, room flips, and logistics across multiple venues within the property

Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges before and during events

Conduct post-event recaps with internal teams to assess performance, capture learnings, and continuously elevate execution standards

Uphold all safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards throughout event operations

Represent Nine Orchard and MML with professionalism, warmth, and a deep commitment to hospitality excellence
What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of experience in event operations within luxury hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or lifestyle venues

Strong understanding of event logistics, service standards, and front-of-house operations

Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-touch environment

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Calm, confident leadership style with the ability to direct teams under pressure

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Financial awareness related to labor planning, rentals, and operational efficiencies
