58 North is a luxury, remote fishing lodge located in the heart of Bristol Bay, Alaska. We provide a high-end culinary and hospitality experience for guests from around the world, combining exceptional fishing with refined dining in a wilderness setting.
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join our culinary team for the summer fishing season. This role is ideal for a skilled, adaptable chef who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and takes pride in delivering elevated cuisine with consistency and creativity.

Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations

Prepare and execute high-quality meals for guests and staff

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness

Support menu execution and daily prep

Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices

Work collaboratively with a small, professional kitchen team

Adapt to changing menus and guest needs in a remote lodge setting

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie

Strong foundational cooking skills and attention to detail

Ability to work long hours in a seasonal, high-demand environment

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset

Experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or remote lodges preferred

Alaska food safety certification (or ability to obtain prior to season)

Compensation Details
