Community is seeking a part-time host for 3 shifts (Thursday - Saturday. Each shift is approximately 5 - 5 1/2 hours, starting at 4:30pm. Duties include greeting guests and making a warm, friendly and knowledgeable first impression on each and every guest. You'll be responsible for ensuring that each guest's table is ready and getting them seated in a timely fashion. You'll need to stay updated on what tables are assigned and which are available for walk-ins. You'll need to be able to check reservation notes and communicate those to their server/bartender when seated and to the manager on duty. You'll be required to keep all menus clean and organized. You'll need to be able to answer phone calls, answer basic questions and take reservations in a professional, warm and friendly manner. We also want to be sure that all guests are told thank and bid farewell as they leave. We are looking for someone with some hosting experience or at least customer service experience. We can train for the right candidate. It's important that you are friendly, outgoing, calm under pressure and can keep changing information organized in your head and make quick adjustments as needed.
