Bibliotheque is a bookstore, café, and wine bar in the heart of SoHo. Founded in 2022, it was built as a true third space. A place to read, drink well, eat thoughtfully, and linger.
Bibliotheque aims to offer the New York community an unparalleled literary lounge experience. It is a gathering space for artists, bookworms, and wine and food lovers from around the world.
The business is run by A.J. Jacono and Scott Woltz, a partnership rooted in books, hospitality, and operations. A.J. oversees the literary and creative direction, while Scott leads the beverage program and day-to-day operations. Together, they shape Bibliotheque as both a cultural space and a working restaurant and wine bar.
Our wine program features over 750 selections and more than 3,000 bottles, spanning classic regions, thoughtful producers, and rare offerings dating back to the 1950s. The café and food program are designed to complement that depth while remaining approachable and guest-focused.
Bibliotheque is meant to feel lived-in, welcoming, and intentional. It’s a place built for good conversation, curiosity, and care.
