Job Details

Golden Age Hospitality—the group behind The Nines, Elvis, Deux Chats, Le Dive, Bar Bianchi, and The Happiest Hour—is currently seeking General Managers to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced nightlife environment and willing to roll up their sleeves across all aspects of service and operations.

General Manager Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Managing Partner and Director of Operations to develop and execute strategies that achieve operational and financial goals.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership by aligning FOH and BOH teams around shared goals and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and refine clear strategic initiatives.

  • Conduct weekly manager meetings and confidently present to groups.

  • Lead engaging, motivating, and educational pre-shift meetings.

  • Ensure consistent execution of food, beverage, service, and hospitality standards aligned with company values.

  • Proactively manage prime costs with attention to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual budgets and projections.

  • Forecast and monitor weekly sales and labor to meet both hospitality and financial targets.

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing management and hourly team.

  • Hold team members accountable through performance management, coaching, and counseling when necessary.

  • Effectively handle challenging guest situations with patience, empathy, and tact, and resolve team conflicts professionally.

  • Apply creative solutions to operational challenges where standard procedures may not exist.

  • Work independently while fostering collaboration, balancing individual and team responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a similar fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience in nightlife-focused establishments

  • Strong restaurant operations expertise

  • Solid knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails

  • Experience with POS and operational platforms including Toast, 7Shifts, Resy, OpenTable, Slack, and Asana

  • Strong mathematical and computer skills, including Excel and Google Docs

  • Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $110,000–$150,000

  • $250 monthly travel allowance
