dohō is a New American-style bistro in Philadelphia’s Mt. Airy neighborhood, highlighting bold flavors rooted in Latin American and East Asian cuisines, elevated through European influences and modern technique. Our beverage program reflects the same philosophy: intentional hospitality, clean execution, and consistent quality.
We are seeking a bartender who thrives in a structured, high-expectation environment and takes pride in working with discipline, precision, and professionalism.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Managing a up to 13 seats including high tops as well as service tickets (with support depending on volume)

• Execute spec-driven cocktails with accuracy and consistency

• Work within a batching program designed for quality and speed

• Maintain clean, organized stations and uphold bar standards

• Manage ticket flow, sequencing, and timing during service

• Provide warm, professional hospitality at the bar and to dining guests

• Complete opening/closing duties thoroughly and reliably

• Collaborate closely with FOH team to support service standard

Training & Expectations
Training is structured, hands-on, and standards-based. In the first several weeks, you should expect:

•  Clear performance benchmarks

• Frequent coaching and feedback

• High standards for mise en place, organization, and execution

• Emphasis on consistency, ticket management, and teamwork

• This position is best suited for bartenders who value structure, discipline, and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bartending experience preferred (fine dining/craft experience a plus)

• Strong organization and time management

• Professional demeanor and team-first mindset

• Ability to perform calmly under pressure

• Coachable, receptive to feedback, and motivated to improve

• Weekend and evening availability required

Job Type / Compensation

• Part-time with the potential for full time opportunity (based on fit and availability)
