Many of the Roman classics are featured – Carbonara, all’Amatriciana, alla Gricia, al Burro, Arrabbiata and more.
Position Summary:
Our pasta prep cooks are an essential part of our team. They make sure our kitchen is stocked with all necessary pasta prep for daily service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• All aspects of food preparation and presentation.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Assists in control of inventory and supplies.
• Monitor and check daily food logs.
• Handle and store food products correctly (FIFO).
• Complete tasks assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate all kitchen related needs to Chef or Manager.
• Assist other stations when necessary.
• Complete all cleaning tasks assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Must be able to bend or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
Skills/Experience:
• Experience preferred in fresh hand rolled pasta production and extruded pasta.
• High-volume fine dining restaurant experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $22.00)
