New General Manager to Lead Leesburg’s New Standard in Hospitality
Leesburg, VA — A newly opened, chef-driven restaurant inside a boutique hotel in historic downtown Leesburg announces the search for a General Manager to lead front-of-house operations and oversee the hotel’s full food-and-beverage experience.
This is the press release we hope to publish when we find the right person.
Should your name be on it? Reach out and tell us why.
A Destination Built on Remarkable Moments
Now open, our restaurant offers an elegant, welcoming dining experience rooted in seasonality, local sourcing, and a thoughtful beverage program. With a refined dining room, an expansive patio, and multiple hotel outlets under the same umbrella, we’re building something rare: a place where standards are high, hospitality is genuine, and the team feels proud of the work every night.
The General Manager will be the daily leader and cultural center of the operation—setting the tone, elevating service, driving performance, and building a team that loves the craft as much as the guest.
About the General Manager (The Person We’re Looking For)
You’re a seasoned hospitality leader with deep operational instincts and a relentless commitment to guest experience. You’ve led in high-caliber, high-expectation environments where details matter and consistency is the product. You are equal parts coach, operator, host, and standard-bearer—and you understand that leadership is service to both guests and team.
We expect the General Manager to bring:
- Proven leadership in chef-driven, service-focused dining (and comfort with high-volume moments)
- Strong financial and operational acumen (labor, cost controls, inventory, forecasting, scheduling)
- The ability to hire, train, inspire, and retain a talented front-of-house team
- A calm, commanding presence on the floor. Warm with guests, clear with standards, direct with accountability
- A passion for building culture: consistent feedback, clear systems, and pride in professionalism
The Leadership Values We Live By
Our General Manager will model and protect the values that define how we operate:
How We Treat Each Other is Everything
You create a culture of respect, trust, and accountability. You are in service to the team as much as the guest.
Make It Fun
You bring energy and momentum. You know hospitality is serious work—and you make the environment uplifting without lowering standards.
The Action Reflex
You don’t wait for problems to become crises. You anticipate, communicate early, and move decisively.
Lead and Live with Grace
You hold the line with kindness. You manage pressure without creating it. You elevate people through clarity, coaching, and consistency.
Create Remarkable Moments
You understand that excellence is built through small actions, repeated daily—personal touches for guests and meaningful wins for the team.
Scope of the Role
This role is both inspiring and demanding. The General Manager will lead the restaurant’s service and standards while also overseeing the hotel’s broader F&B experience, including:
- The main dining room and patio
- A lobby bar
- A private speakeasy-style space
- A rooftop bar and events
- Private dining and group experiences
You will partner closely with culinary leadership and ownership to build a world-class operation: the kind of place people talk about, return to, and want to work for.
A Few Operational Details
- Approximately 70 seats in the main dining room, plus a 40-seat patio
- A kitchen designed for excellence and volume, including combi ovens, hot line, and a wood-fired grill
- Dry-aging capability
- Culinary team supporting hotel-wide food service across outlets and events
