Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook at Lingo Restaurant, located in Greenpoint. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the restaurant's high-quality standards, ensuring proper food presentation, and maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen. Day-to-day tasks also include assisting in food preparation, organizing kitchen inventory, and collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Additional responsibilities may include managing food storage and ensuring kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
Qualifications
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills, with knowledge of kitchen equipment and techniques
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Experience in a fast-paced culinary environment and time management skills
- Teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration
- Attention to detail and commitment to creating quality dishes
- Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is preferred but not required
- Culinary training or certifications are a plu
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00)
