Woman owned and operated since 2015, Otway located in Clinton Hill has been a neighborhood destination for both dinner and brunch, and is known for their natural wine. We are looking to hire passionate and enthusiastic bartender to our dinner crew!
We are seeking out a talented bartender, preferably with barista experience to be part of our diverse and enthusiastic team and work in a restaurant that cultivates a healthy, safe, and inclusive culture.
We are hiring for full time, with a Wednesday to Saturday schedule, with the potential to pick up more shifts. Weekend days required.
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of NYC restaurant experience working in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant, bar, or equivalent
- be passionate about hospitality & food!
-knowledge of beverage programs & barista experience highly preferred
- basic to intermediate understanding of classic cocktails and spirits
- experience using POS Systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, Squirrel, Salido, PosiTouch (or similar)
- exposure to Resy or OpenTable
- must be punctual and reliable
- be able to multi-task and handle high volume of orders
- must be able to work well in a small team and put in best effort to drive that team to success
- must be able to bend, stretch, and stand on feet for long periods of time
