- You will work first hand with the Chef-Owner to learn new skills, maintain and improve systems. You will also be expected to earn a certain level of autonomy in order to run service yourself.

Altovino is a regionally inspired Italian restaurant in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. We serve dinner Wednesday-Sunday starting at 5pm. We are known for our handmade pasta and deeply satisfying entrees, carefully developed to utilize every component of the best local produce and proteins.
We want to be excited to come to work each day and we want that for our team as well. We are all active in the business as operators. We have a strong, reliable team and are looking for the perfect person to help us lead it.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)

Wine Director-Owner Calli Martinez is a Certified Sommelier & Certified Italian Wine Specialist with the North American Sommelier Association. Although she has a particular weakness for Nebbiolo in all shapes and forms, she endeavors to fill the list with representation from across Italy. The list is filled with a wide range of price points, but all in excellent quality.
