About Us: At Passerine, we are excited to bring a high-level Indian dining experience to NYC. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional food and service, inspired by the Michelin-starred vision of our talented Executive Chef, who earned a Michelin-Star in 2024. Our goal is to create a memorable dining experience that reflects the rich flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine while aiming for a Michelin star in our new home.
Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and talented servers to join our dynamic team. As a server, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they enjoy a seamless dining experience. If you have a flair for fine dining and a love for hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to all guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
- Knowledgeably present the menu, including food and beverage pairings, while highlighting the unique aspects of our cuisine.
- Take and manage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism and care.
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards of service and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a particular interest in Indian cuisine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Actively practice food safety procedures
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $1,000.00
