Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Service Director to lead and elevate the front-of-house experience at our fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate is a seasoned hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury service environments, a deep understanding of elevated service standards, and a passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service, cultivating a culture of excellence, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the highest level of refinement, precision, and warmth. The Service Director reports directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, train, and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver flawless, high-level service
· Set and uphold service standards, protocols, and presentation guidelines
· Oversee daily service operations, including reservations, floor management, and guest flow
· Ensure exceptional guest relations, handling VIPs, special requests, and service recovery with professionalism
· Develop and execute staff training programs, including service etiquette, wine knowledge, and menu education
· Maintain impeccable dining room appearance, ambiance, and service timing
· Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous service improvements
· Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and performance evaluations
· Providing support to Maitre D' and host team through each service
· Enforcing educational and disciplinary processes and ensuring proper documentation
· Uphold all health, safety, and compliance standards
Qualifications
· Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
· Proven expertise in elevated service standards
· Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining service etiquette
· Exceptional communication, leadership, and guest engagement skills
· · Forbes Service Standards Training is a plus
· · Michelin Restaurant experience required
· Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
· Detail-oriented with a passion for hospitality excellence
· Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
· Experience leading large, high-performing service teams
· Strong training and coaching background
· Advanced guest recovery and conflict-resolution skills
· Knowledge of POS and reservation systems (Resy, Toast, etc.)
· Ability to build service culture and mentor future leaders
· Experience working in chef-driven or luxury restaurant concepts

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $110,000.00)
