We are looking for someone to work as both a runner and busser interchangeably throughout the week!

Runner Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Runner is responsible for crafting exceptional guest experiences and memories as well 
as maintaining the Obvio standards of service within the restaurant. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills & abilities to be able to 
explain & demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with 
or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Basic cocktail, wine, & spirit knowledge
  • Sound judgment & knowledge of operations, as well as great food menu knowledge.
  • Great customer service, interpersonal, written, & verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment & ability to multi-task and work under pressure while still being detail oriented and personable.
  • Good organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, guests & colleagues.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution by exercising good judgment & decision making in escalating situations.
  • Great menu knowledge as well as allergies
  • Kitchen Station Maintenance
  • Ensure station is set in accordance to company & DOH standards
  • Ensure station is fully stocked & ready for service
  • Ensure station cleanliness is maintained continuously before, during, & after service
  •  Assist in garnishes as assigned by chef
  • Accurately bring dishes to the guests maintaining the proper table, seat numbers, etc.
  • Awareness of any/all allergies present at the table & modifications made to dishes to accommodate
  • Compliance with OSHA, local health & safety codes, as well as Company safety & security policies
  • Provide attentiveness & excellent service to guests.

  • Ensure station is fully stocked and ready for service
  • Ensure station cleanliness is maintained continuously before, during, and after service
  • Ensure tables are set appropriately for the courses
  • Ensure tables are clear of any used/empty dishware, silverware, glassware
  • Ensure water levels are maintained for all guests
  • Assist server.
  • Compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, as well as company safety and security policies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear, and reach. The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time. The employee is required to use dominate hand coordination for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation. The employee is also required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level. The employee may be required to travel to other floors using stairs multiple times during shift. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
