Ramerino Prime is now seeking for experienced and professional Grill Cooks in NYC who are interested in working with a large, collaborative, cohesive culinary unit executing amazing Italian-American dishes with focus in Fine Steaks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. Grilling Steak, Fish etc, chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Excellent knowledge cooking to the right temperature all type of meats (Filet Mignon, Rib eye, NY Strip Steak, Porter House and more)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Strong experience as Grill Cook, preferably in a Steakhouse or Italian Restaurant.
- Ability to manage a station from prep to service
- Punctual, dependable, and a team first mentality
- Full-time availability – including weekend availability
Compensation: Hourly ($28.00 - $30.00) Negotiable
