Title: Membership Engagement Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Rate: Full time, Salary $100,000-$110,000 per year


We are seeking a full-time experienced marketing and hospitality-focused Membership Engagement Manager to drive membership satisfaction, retention and growth through exceptional engagement strategies at our private racquet clubs. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, community-oriented club culture through development and implementation of programming, communication strategies, and personalized outreach efforts that align with our values and service standards.


Responsibilities:
  • Define and steward the brand voice across all channels
  • Strategize and market ways for members to interact with their respective clubs through events, programming and cross-promotion with brands to bring value to members
  • Partner with the Tennis Director and General Managers to develop and market internal programs and member events
  • Provide weekly reporting on programming utilization to the Tennis Director and General Managers
  • Manage all club Instagram accounts with high-quality and regular posts
  • Send bi-weekly newsletters to members for each club highlighting upcoming programs, announcements and events
  • Coordinate photographers/videographers during events to capture content with shot lists
  • Use our WhatsApp community to engage members in various clinics and events
  • Organize and send event invitations and manage RSVPs, track attendance, consolidate feedback post event
  • Assist with member gift packaging and distribution
  • Bi-weekly reporting of email performance KPIs
  • Maintain consistent language and tone across all communication channels
  • Maintain content, programming and member event calendar
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of tennis is preferred
  • Basic Instagram creation skills
  • Canva experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to Southampton bi-weekly during the summer months
  • Weekend and holiday availability as-needed
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable with basic technology (booking software, phone, email)
  • Prior experience in marketing and communications preferred
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long extended periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing).
  • Must have full schedule availability.
  • Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($100,000.00 - $110,000.00)
