This role works closely with a small team, reporting directly to senior management, and will be instrumental in growing the company.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage a large-scale production kitchen to meet food cost, labor, and quality goals and drive the business forward
- Inform the creative direction and strategy of the menu according to customer sales data
- Create and implement production plans according to a menu that changes weekly to prepare and plate food for delivery
- Create and implement quality controls protocols to ensure the highest standards are met at all times, and that food is executed according to recipes
- Create new production practices and flows to enforce prep schedule and kitchen organization standards
- Team training, management, and culture
- Oversee inventory and kitchen management including sanitation and maintenance
Skills
- 5-7 years working in a professional culinary space
- Experience managing teams and kitchens
- Experience managing projects with a track record of success
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and willingness to use on a daily basis
