Job Details
Mahon hospitality is looking to hire an assistant GM for one of its newest location located in midtown Manhattan close to Rockfeller Center. 

He/She must have 6 + Year of experience in hospitality and be proficient in R365.

  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor new employees.
    • Create staff schedules, assign sections, and manage shift coverage.
    • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and resolve employee conflicts.
    • Ensure proper staffing levels for guest service and operational needs.
  • Operations & Maintenance:
    • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure facility cleanliness and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food/labor costs.
    • Handle equipment maintenance and facility management.
  • Customer Service:
    • Resolve guest questions, complaints, and grievances professionally.
    • Gather guest feedback and ensure a positive dining experience.
    • Act as the face of the restaurant, building relationships with patrons.
  • Financial & Administrative:
    • Assist with budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting (sales, costs).
    • Handle cash management, register balancing, and banking procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Support for General Manager:
    • Assist the GM in achieving restaurant goals for service, operations, and financials.
    • Fill in for any role (server, line cook, etc.) as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with management and kitchen staf
