Job Details
We are looking for a General Manager to drive daily service at La Jetée and manage all front of house operations for the Canopy hotel food & beverage including a strong banquets & catering business. The General Manager will work closely with Ecco leadership and provide clear direction for the business, while also managing a strong relationship & accountability with hotel management.
Responsibilities:
• Hire, train, and provide ongoing feedback to all Front of House teams in the restaurant establishing empathetic and clear leadership.
• Drive staff education in the restaurant including wine, menu, and service trainings.
• Drive sales at La Jetée by managing a consistent business that delivers a high quality experience for guests, leaving them ecstatically happy.
• Become an advocate for our approach to local sourcing and hospitality, using it to guide teams and inform daily decision making.
• Manage the beverage program, providing direction to a Bar Manager, including a French wine list and full bar.
• Ensure systems are established that maintain company standards in all areas of the restaurant and banquet program.
• Manage collaboration between hotel management, sales teams, and La Jetée management acting as the communication liaison.
• Manage financial controls including cost of goods, labor cost, and profitability.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years in fine dining establishments, 3+ years in management
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $90,000.00)
