Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and an appreciation for Italian food culture. As a line cook at Claudio's Table, you will work closely with the kitchen staff to prepare dishes with precision and care, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook food items to order, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety regulations.
- Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen prep.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role (Italian cuisine experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
