Head Bartender

Seiren – Mediterranean Conservas Bar | NYC

Seiren is an intimate, Mediterranean-inspired conservas bar focused on exceptional cocktails, wine, hospitality, and detail-driven service. We are seeking an experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar program, set standards, and mentor a strong team behind the bar.

This role is ideal for a bartender who thrives in a leadership position while remaining hands-on during service.

• Lead daily bar operations and service execution

• Set and uphold cocktail, wine, and service standards

• Train, coach, and mentor bartenders and barbacks

• Oversee bar prep, pars, ordering, and inventory control

• Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal features

• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and consistency at all times

• Maintain strong guest engagement and elevate the bar experience

• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and bar systems

• Minimum 3–5 years bartending experience in a high-volume or cocktail-focused environment

• Prior leadership experience (Head Bartender or Lead Bartender preferred)

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

• Organized, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented

• Professional, reliable, and hospitality-driven mindset

• Ability to lead by example and work closely with management
