Job Details
- Prepares food for banquets and special events.
- Follows recipes and ensures that all food is prepared to the correct temperature, consistency, and presentation.
- Coordinates with the banquet chef and team to ensure that all events are executed seamlessly.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
- Ensures that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Works quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Communicates effectively with other members of the kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Has a passion for cooking and is committed to continuously learning and improving.
Desired experience for banquet cook includes:
1) Full schedule flexibility to be able to work all shifts - AM, PM, weekends and holidays
2) When storing dry goods and refrigerated goods including proper labeling and rotation of all ingredients to prevent food waste
3) Experience in food preparation and food knowledge is essential, and guest interaction is a must
4) Carefully and safely prepare food according to chef direction
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $20.00)
