Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, polishing, and dusting lighting fixtures, windows, furniture surfaces, and equipment
- Cleaning public spaces, dining room, private dining spaces, offices, kitchen, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Cleaning/Vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Washing dishes, pots, pans stoves and refrigeration/freezer units
- Utilizing dishwasher and dishwashing equipment
- Washing windows, door panels and sills
- Emptying wastebaskets, trash bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- Replenishing supplies for restaurant service and guest needs
- Replacing light bulbs
- Ensuring sidewalks are kept clean and free from debris
- Setting up/moving tables and chairs
- Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous related experience in a restaurant preferred
- Ability to ask for help and offer help when needed
- Capability to utilize time efficiently and to work on own
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
- Ability to work in an environment with hot and cold conditions
