Immediate Opening: Weekend Brunch Line Cook (Lower East Side)
Sunday to Sunday Cafe is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Line Cook for our Lower East Side location.
Compensation: $21–$23 per hour, based on experience
Sunday to Sunday is a well-established café in the Lower East Side with over six years of operation. Known for our brunch-focused menu, we are located on a busy Lower East Side corner. We are currently looking to add a skilled line cook for our brunch service to our team.
Schedule:
- Friday–Sunday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Working alongside a dishwasher, Head Chef, and another line cook
- Monday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Dishwasher available until 4:00 PM
- Kitchen closes at 5:00 PM; remaining time is dedicated to prep
- Candidate must be comfortable closing the kitchen independently
Qualifications:
- Prior line cook experience required
- Strong execution of eggs, pasta, salads, and brunch items
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to cleanliness
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid work authorization in the U.S.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- New York Food Protection Certificate
- Experience in high-volume brunch service

- El candidato debe sentirse cómodo/a cerrando la cocina de forma independiente.
Requisitos:
- Se requiere experiencia previa como cocinero/a de línea.
- Excelente preparación de huevos, pasta, ensaladas y brunch.
- Confiable, organizado/a y atento/a a la limpieza.
- Dominio básico del inglés.
- Autorización de trabajo válida en EE. UU.
Requisitos preferidos:
- Certificado de Protección de Alimentos de Nueva York.
- Experiencia en servicio de brunch de alto volumen.
