After Little Rascal was born in 2012 in Nolita, New York City, opened its door in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in June 2022. Little Rascal is a cutting-edge cocktail bar in Brooklyn. It is located in the heart of the Greenpoint waterfront district and has a partnership with world-renowned mixologist Keith Larry. (formerly Employess Only).

Important/Key Responsibilities
- Bartenders should be naturally outgoing, engaging, and fun. They create a welcoming, approachable environment that brings a sense of coziness.
- Bartenders must deliver their knowledge with all aspects of service.
- Bartenders must participate all preparation process and learn/understand our menu completely.
- A deep understanding of our cocktail menu, wine-by-the-glass offerings, spirits, beer, coffee, and tea programs is essential. Bartenders must also be fluent in spirit knowledge, cocktail history, classic cocktails, and the New York cocktail scene.
- Bartenders must be capable of wine service besides the cocktail!
- Bartenders are natural leaders in the restaurant, often being the last point of interaction with guests, and ensuring a positive final impression.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about hospitality, food and beverage program is a Plus
Physical DemandsRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, using fingers and hands, kneeling, or crouching.
Position Requirements
- 3 years previous experience at a restaurant/bar with similar service, guest relations and operational standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Knowledgeable on spirits/cocktails /wine, all aspects of dining room service.
- General knowledge of food preparation methods and culinary terminology.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, and shifts from morning through late night.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips
