About the Role
The Sous Chef will play a critical role in supporting daily kitchen operations across multiple locations, ensuring culinary standards, food quality, and consistency. This position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Corporate Chef with execution of menus, specials, and events across multiple units
• Support kitchen teams during service, prep, and large-scale events
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency at all locations
• Help train, coach, and support BOH staff
• Ensure adherence to NYC DOH food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Assist with ordering, inventory control, and waste reduction
• Step in as kitchen lead when the Corporate Chef is off-site Qualifications
• 3+ years experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen
• Experience working across multiple outlets or concepts preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety, DOH compliance, and kitchen systems
• Ability to lead calmly and effectively under pressure
• Organized, dependable, and solutions-oriented
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and events

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $70,000.00)
