Bistro Romano, an upscale Italian restaurant, situated in an 18th century Granary, celebrating 38 years on Lombard Street, is seeking a restaurant manger to join the management team.  If you are dynamic leader, have a passion for hospitality and ensuring exceptional guest experiences, then join us.

$2,000.00 Welcome Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dining room, ensuring exceptional service and high standards
• Supervise, train, motivate FOH Team
• Manage guest relations and resolving issues
• Control costs, manage inventory, handle sales reports, budgets
• Maintain cleanliness, safety & compliance with all health department regulations
• Ordering & receiving
• Private party management and service execution
• Work in tandem with BOH and kitchen to ensure food quality and timely delivery
• Work in tandem with upper management

Requirements:

• 2yrs management experience in upscale dining
• Wine & cocktail knowledge
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills, problem solving
• Experience with restaurant software, website updating, Microsoft office, google docs, open table, POS
• Ability to five-day work week of nights, weekends & holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for the entire work day
• Must be able to move about the restaurant and do steps
• Must be able to bend, lift, carry, extend arms and hands above frequently
