The Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud, offers a unique seasonally inspired menu, including Breakfast at Tiffany’s Afternoon Tea, and an all-day à la carte selection. The Peter Marino-designed space now includes a private dining area, café and bar and features custom art installations as well as the signature Tiffany shade of blue.
The Blu Box Café is seeking an a Garde Manger to join the team! The Garde Manger is responsible for:
- Preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods
- Assisting the unloading of deliveries
- Stocking and rotating products
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department and Dinex standards.
- Following recipes with precision that include basic mathematical calculation
- Collaborating and communicating well in a team environment
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a culinary training program with general knowledge of service sequence or have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
A culinary training degree is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $19.00)
